Sustainable outreach initiatives supporting communities in development projects
The Cans For Kids Project has evolved out of the fundraising efforts of Year 5/6 students at Our Lady Of Hope School. All kinds of recyclables are collected daily, cleaned and sorted before selling them to raise money to support the education of under privileged children in need. Their teacher Patriz Kerkenaar travels regularly to utilise the funding to establish various sustainable projects, in Indonesia and more recently in Africa.
Let’s build a school in Ghana!
