The Strategic Building Plan

The Strategic Plan includes the following steps to construction, timeline and anticipated costs.

Stage 1 – 2019

CFKP formed a Board of Directors and Committee.

A dedicated fee free bank account was opened with the Commonwealth Bank.

Stage 2 – 2020 Mumford Campus

A double plot of Stool land was purchased at Mumford early 2020.

Land ownership documentation was completed.

Land cleared.

Stage 3 – 2021

Building permit completed and rates paid.

Land cleared.

20 coconut trees were planted along the boundary.

Boundary fence completed.

Security building constructed.

Stage 4 – 2022

Polytank water container installed.

Basic long drop toilet block constructed.

Stage 5 – 2023

New Management Team established

Re-registered documentation, auditing, re-established NGO.

Site inspection and future planning established.

Boundary fence & Security building repaired & upgraded

Summer hut / first class room constructed.

First adult education classes commenced.

Stage 6 – 2023 & 2024

Entrance vehicle security gates and 2 small pedestrian gates to be constructed.

Further upgrading of security building.

Polytank foundations to be re-constructed.

Toilet block to be completed.

More coconut trees along the boundary, plus assorted fruit trees.

The land will be developed for a micro finance project in animal husbandry and farming, until the school becomes more established.

Commencement of Volunteer Program

Stage 8 – 2025

NB  Future stages are open to adjustment, pending sponsorship and financial support, unforeseen costs and circumstances beyond control.

The concept design allows for one building to be constructed at a time, or all 4 buildings could be constructed simultaneously.

Outdoor paving for building boundaries, walking & play areas. Completion of garden, fruit trees, compost area, recycling area.
